Torque invests in Ellepot and merges PlantPaper

Together with Kirk Kapital, Torque has purchased Ellepot from private equity fund, Capidea, while merging PlantPaper into the newly acquired company. Ellepot is a world-leading provider of sustainable propagation solutions for a wide range of growers.

Torque and Kirk Kapital thus owns 48 pct. each of the now much stronger Ellepot with the rest of the shares being owned by Ellepot’s management. The combined business is present on five continents, and its products are available in more than 120 countries. Ellepot’s headquarters are in Esbjerg, and the company has more than 25 years of
experience and expertise in the development and production of customized solutions for the horticulture worldwide. The new structure and the combined resources of the two companies will enable Ellepot to invest further in developing the products and services portfolio, thus serving the environment and promoting sustainable solutions.
