Torque invests in new Danish retail chain

Basic & More is a newly founded retail concept with an unconventional approach to the intersection between sustainability and commercial success. The stores sell surplus stock and second sorting products from prominent brands within interior decoration, household implements and similar, which would otherwise have been thrown away. This means attractive prices and is combined with a wide range of other products acquired conventionally but with an eye to an attractive and modern assortment.

Torque has recently made a significant investment in Basic & More. The chain, which currently has three stores and also operates a webshop, is aiming to expand quickly and open new shops in several locations within the next two years. The first 3 shops are in Aarhus, Kolding and Odense, and the fourth will open in Aalborg this June.
